The XDry / DD322FW Dehumidifiers are adsorption or desiccant dehumidifiers, white in colour, that are ideal for lower temperature applications such as cooler Homes, Garages, Conservatories, Unattended Premises, Holiday homes & Caravans, Workshops etc.
The XDry / DD322FW Dehumidifiers work on the adsorption principle and our experience with similar desiccant dehumidifiers, indicates that desiccant dehumidifiers are far more efficient at lower temperatures than conventional refrigerated dehumidifiers that lose efficiency as temperature decreases. The XDry / DD322 is now available in 2 versions
The XDry / DD322FW “Classic” is a purely automatic machine with an over-ride or a Laundry mode. The Classic will maintain humidity either at 45 to 50% rh or 35-40%. A significant benefit of the XDry is this machine has auto restart after a power failure and is therefore useful for premises that are left unattended or where power failures are likely to occur. The Eco DD322FW “Simple” really is the simple version with an infinitely adjustable rotary humidistat and a 2-speed fan plus the sound levels on low fan speed is just 36dB(A) compared to 42 dB(A) on the “Classic”. Also the fan shuts down when dehumidifying is complete which makes the “Simple” version more economical and suitable for home use. We think this is an important consideration and a feature we like.
